What are the Northern Lights?
- The result gas particles from earth colliding with charges particles from the sun
- The particles react with each other and release energy creating light
- They were named after the Roman goddess, Aurora and the Greek name for north wind, Boreas

- September to April
- Clear nights
- Winter
- Away from all light pollution
